I received three calls in 2 hours from this number. It claims my AT&t internet is unsafe. Tells me not to use it until I call the 877 number provided. I do not have ANY form of AT&T service. The second call I stayed on the line, it told me it would transfer me to "Premium Customer Service". They left me on hold for about 2 minutes then cut off the call.

Person called claiming to work for att and wanted me to update all my account info over the phone- said they worked for my local store but number did not come up as att store. I called the store and they said no one by that name worked there.

A person calls says he is with AT&T. Apologizes for the recent disruption in service by the installation of the new cell phone tower. Asked if I had any dropped calls. Asked if I had slower internet. I did have that. Told me he was going to give me a credit on my bill and said he was sending me a code from AT&T via text, which I got. I was to read it to him to allow him to give me the credit on my bill. He even had my address. Stupidly I gave him the code.

Then I thought I should call AT&T. They had not called me originally. The scammers were trying to log into my account to see what upgrades I had available by typing in my number for my username and then used the "I forgot my password" option. AT&T sent me a temp password which I didn't know that is what they wanted when they asked for the pin.

Thankfully I called AT&T directly after I got off that call to put a stop on what they were doing.
