My Mother was approached Via Facebook by someone she has known for years about a federal grant for graduate school/anything grants. My mother was then put in contact with one Attorney Cabrera Gail from the federal government grant program. She asked for personal information including my salary and car model but not bank account or ss# information. My mother gave it to her without consulting me as well as my phone number. I then received a text message from her about it where she went on to state for a modest fee i could get anywhere from $50,000 - $1,000,000. I was incredibly skeptical and when I called her out on it she kept insisting I talk to my mothers friend about how legitimate it was. I sent her a link showing it was a scam from the government website and she kept insisting I give her my information so she could process it. I told her I was not interested any longer and then blocked her. I hope you can put an end to her scam before she hurts someone like my mother who is more trusting.
