They’ve called me 3 times telling me that I owe money for a credit card bill. I in fact do owe a bill but I gave them a prepaid debit card number to pay it, they called back saying the card was invalid and that the payment had to be doubled since it was invalid, but never asked for the number again to make sure it was right. They’ve threaded to take me to court. After researching the company, and them being very harsh and persistent, I believe they are trying to scam me. If they call again, I’m planning on telling them to send me letter in writing, and they can send it to magistrate court. When he sent me my “payment plan” email, the original creditors name was different in each one. First it said “Chase Mastercard” the second one said “US Bank”
