Applied for an administrative assistant job on LinkedIn and received email asking for Google hangout interview. After the interview they offered me the work from home job position with Augusta university health and then I never heard from an HR department. All of the conversation was through email. They wanted to do a security check on me and asked for drivers license, address, and social security number and then said they needed to send me a check to order my home office equipment. I went to mobile deposit it and the check wasn’t accepted. I knew this was a red flag as well as never speaking to anyone through phone call or anything.
