I was scammed by "Augustine Newfie Dogs"

I found a website that offered Newfoundland dogs for sale, I reached out to the "breeder" from their website and was quickly responded to by "Augustin Gerald" about the puppy I was interested in. Once we had arranged to purchase the puppy, he emailed a contract to sign and before payment was made he also emailed over a notarized "change of ownership" form as well. I was somewhat skeptical of the whole situation but was reassured when he agreed to speak with me over the phone and sent numerous photos and videos of the puppy. Once everything was signed and we sent money through zelle to this person, we then received a tracking number from a website called "petshomerelocators.com" after confirming our information was correct, we received an email asking for $922 to rent an airconditioned crate and life insurance for the puppy and once the puppy had been delivered we would have 95% of the $922 refunded. We paid the money and all seemed well until about three hours later when we received another email from the same company asking for $860 for life insurance. We then realized that we were being scammed and refused to pay the money. Once we refused, they began threatening us and saying we would be facing criminal charges for abandoning the puppy at an airport. We didn't buy it and continued to tell them we would not send anymore money for this puppy.
