"Hello, this is Michelle from Austin Public Health Department. I have urgent and confidential health information to discuss with you. Please call me back at 512-608-8056. Thank you."
My response:
"Riiiight. You might try calling from an Austin Public Health phone number."
Second text:
"This is my work issued cell phone. You can call 311 and verify my identity that way. My office line is 512-972-5457. We are teleworking due to COVID."
At that point I called 311 who told me neither number belonged to Austin Public Health. 311 will report it to APH.
