I am a first time published book. This co. Called and pushed and pushed for me too send them $3500 to them so they could put a ad in the New York times bestseller list. My book is not there. They also said that a very notable publisher wanted to republish it under there. I called my bank to report this. They temporarily gave me back my $3,500 until they could investigate everything. They wrote me back and said that they were going to take the money back out of my account and send to them because it was all legitimately done. Nothing is legitimately done in the business world unless you sign it. They sent me a contract to sign and send back and I did not sign it nor did I send it back. When they asked me for the first thousand and they pushed me and pushed me on that I told him that I needed my money back and they said that that was fine to get me a lawyer and they would get their 12 lawyers to back them. When they call and leave me messages they would call me every name but my real name which makes no sense to me. Like I said I still have everything that they sent me contractual wise for me to sign and send back and I did not. So I do not see how they could do anything even though I paid them this money if they didn't have my signature to prove the whole thing the final thing. I called the reputable publishing company that they stated wanted to republish my book under their name and spoke to a young lady and I have her phone number and I spoke to Ashley three different people but, they told me that they would never reach out to a public like a publisher or self-publishing company and say they wanted to have this book to republish under their name that is never ever done. And she said did they ask you for money up front and I said yes and they pressured me until I did it she said you just got scammed cuz they're not going to do anything but keep your $3,500. I have my bank I already called my bank to start working on it again and I would love for you people to investigate this as well because it's ridiculous.
