My car had been hit and run on the highway in January. My insurance company took care of my car damages and by February my case was closed. In march I received a letter saying the insurance company wanted a third party to re-evaluate my car. I called the insurance company and that was not the case. This morning I received a phone call from a woman who said she was from Ambro Adjustments and was needing to set up a day this week for my car to be re-evaluated. She had my insurance Co; my claim #; address; phone #; car make, model and year. I told her this week wasn't possible and the car wasn't in town. she seemed to hurry off the phone and told me she would let me know if there was anything else I needed to do. So I called my insurance company again. My case is paid and closed. No one was told to re-evaluate my car. They suggested I call the ScamPulse.com for MA. The ScamPulse.com said that Ambro Adjustments was a legit company and gave me the phone # for their 2 locations. Then I called Ambro Adjustments who could see my claim and that it was closed but also confirmed that the phone # that made the original call to me this morning did not belong to anyone from their company.
