The so called owner takes only cash or cash app , doesn’t finish the job in the declared time frame. Has multiple unsatisfied customers

. After having my vehicle appraised for the cost of damage done, I was referred to a body shop named Reform Auto Paint & Body. I have GAP coverage with National General, an Allstate company, and they generated a check in the amount of $5,289.29 made payable to Reform Auto Paint & Body. My vehicle was intended to be fixed with newly ordered parts to replace those from the damage of the impact. I was called to the shop to see the progress of the repair process but upon arrival, I noticed that my windshield had been shattered. The owner told me that I brought my vehicle to them with a shattered windshield. I have pictures of the Equinox after the accident and there aren’t any cracks or runs in the windshield. I continued to survey the vehicle and found further damages caused by the mechanics themselves. They told me that they ordered a new fender and hood, but you could see that they only welded pieces together and sanded it before painting over the damage. Also, my headlights were installed completely wrong. You can see that the two headlights were not aligned in sync. Once I made the complaint clear to their visual, they offered to fix damages and asked me to come back when they give me the call that the vehicle is ready. This time when I came back the windshield had been replaced but the insulation underneath the ceiling’s cloth was exposed. Majiid continued to tell me that they are getting parts from online brand new, and the glass company Safelite installed it. The work that was done does not portray Safelite in any way. They do not have any receipts for any of the supposed parts that were ordered as “replacements.” I declined the work, and they demanded more money from me and would not release my vehicle to me. They attacked me with threats and vulgar language and also attempted to charge me for the windshield replacement. I recently received a letter from Reform Auto Paint and Body stating that they were going to sell my vehicle on November 5, 2024. Unfortunately, that piece of documentation has been destroyed due to the storm. I have some photos of the vehicle after the accident occurred and photos of the repair work performed by Reform Auto Paint and Body along with this piece of documentation.
