My mom found a website online when she was looking for a motor for her 2016 Ford Taurus. Google advertised the website, so she thought it was legit. My mom uses technology well, so I didn’t think anything of it when making the purchase for her. I worked night shifts so after a shower, I went to bed. I woke up to two $1,150 transactions charged to my debit card. Called them and they promised to refund the duplicate transaction. Days go by and nothing. Called again, the man changed his name multiple times when I would call. Then charged another transaction for $1,150. I immediately cancelled my card and called my bank for theft. These men never followed up or called back. They would only say I’m looking into it. So I wasn’t calling them again. My bank then told me I would have to contact Google. The man cursed my mom and I out and told us to never called his phone again after he introduced himself as someone else. This man is using another company’s name and has stolen multiple people’s money. I talked to the real owner of the real company and he told me he’s spoken to FBI because the local police department won’t do anything. So I’m calling them next as well. I pray these men don’t get away with what their doing.
