They make it very difficult to cancel and when you do they still charge you. I couldn't even cancel my warranty so I changed my card to try to avoid being charged for something I don't want and they got my new card information and charged me.

I was contacted conveniently the day that I got all of my unemployment back pay during the whole coronavirus pandemic there was a mistake with my unemployment application it wasn't until I went back to work in July after being unemployed for nearly 3 and 1/2 months had gone through all my savings and had been going to food pantries getting money from friends and family as well as doing doordash and Uber eats to continue to pay bills and make ends meet until I could go back to work a month after I went back to work I was finally contacted back from somebody from the unemployment office where they were able to resolve my claim on August 13th I received thousands of dollars of back pay unemployment insurance which was a huge relief conveniently like most scammers when you come into money I was called by Auto renewal center I was told that there was this an amazing opportunity for an extended warranty for five more years on my car and that I was listed all kinds of conditions that are common with my cards make model and age...
I told the guy that I had been recently hit by a semi truck like literally just a few weeks before and had not yet had gotten my car taken to the claim specialist but was going to very soon I said what happens if the claim specialist decides they want to Total out my car and not repair the damage he said that I could buy the warranty that day and if when I did take my car within the next few weeks that I had 30 days to cancel the policy and then I would receive a full refund for the $199 deposit and then after that it would be 143 a month but if I canceled within the 30 days my policy would be canceled I would not be charged anymore and I would be refunded my deposit so I signed up August 14th I wasn't charged until August 17th around August 20th ended up going and getting my car looked at well really it was the insurance people came and looked at my car while I was working they saw the damage and decided they wanted to Total out my car so I called September 3rd. 11 days before the 30 days they told me I had to cancel no questions and receive my money back. and told them that I wanted to cancel the number that I tried calling first of all the number that the guy on the phone gave me was not the same number it was just redirecting me to some company called mepco billing I wasn't able to reach a live person so then I typed in Auto renewal on Google several things popped up for a website but I was able to find a address and a phone number through the better bureaus of business BBB of all places a single address in irvine

I unfortunately have been scammed many times and most of the time they're foreigners I hate to say that I am not racist but that's how it ends up I call this number and a foreigner answers who's speaking very broken English I think it's a mistake so I call the number back a few times not only is it a foreigner every time but it's the same person I'm very good at voice recognition due to audio impairment sensitivity. Hearing frequencies and tinutis etc. So. I hear very well. Finally when I realized that this was the same person and answering the phones for this service I told him that I had signed up for a membership just two weeks prior and that I had just had my car looked at and they had decided they wanted to Total out and that the guy that I talked to on the phone said that if my car did end up not being able to be repaired that I could cancel my membership at any time my car isn't even that damaged but it's a much older car so in their eyes the cost of repairing it is more than the cost of my car it's like a 2009 model so that's understandable and I told that to the operator and he said that he was going to send an email to the appropriate team and that they would get back to me within 24 hours either by a phone call or an email I waited and waited and never received a phone call or an email so before the next billing cycle I contacted my bank and explained to them everything how I had signed up with this place called Auto renewal and they had charged me a $199 deposit but now even though I've done all the steps that they told me to take so that I could cancel my membership and get a full refund that they were not contacting me back and it was only a few days away from the next billing cycle so they filed a claim put a stop payment against Auto renewal center and a couple days later I received my full refund I also received a letter from my bank saying that they had contacted the merchant that the merchant had canceled my membership with auto renewal center it literally said we have contacted the the merchant your membership with auto renewal has been canceled and they have refunded your money...well I was so busy that month I didn't even see that the same day that I got my 199 refund for the deposit a new company called nebco ended up charging me the next billing cycle for 143 it wasn't until October when I actually caught it I saw that they had charged me 143 I somehow totally forgot about September but anyways we'll get to that later so October 14th I see that they've charged me 143 I call my bank tell them that I had already filed a claim previously in August canceling the membership and now they had charged me another 143 despite them saying that the membership was canceled enter and wow so they're called redcoat which I do remember the guy on the phone telling me that medco was their billing company that would handle all their things so anyways I told them to just cancel my credit card that since this merchant wasn't respecting their agreement when they said that if I called and canceled they never even did contact me back not one time during all of this so today is November 9th 2020 keep in mind that I signed up on August 14th 2020 now several months ago so yesterday when I still haven't had any word from this company I decide to email them back because I started receiving paper notices saying that my account is in delinquent and that I need to pay in full as soon as possible I'm like why are they still sending me paper bills when I've canceled my membership so that's when I take matters into my own hand and start emailing them several times yesterday I think I emailed them like three or four times telling them about all the different occasions that I had tried to cancel my membership gone through my bank and yet I'm still receiving harassing paper notices I told them that if they didn't stop harassing me I was going to report them to the BBB today I receive a phone call from the company not only does she accuse me of being racist because I told her when I kept calling the one number that they have listed online it's not even the same number that I was given when I signed up for the membership but I had to go look it up on the BBB website and the one number that they do have listed kept going and being forward to some Foreigner she cuts me off telling me that I'm being racist for saying that I say I apologize if that's coming off wrong but I'm a person that has been scammed many times and unfortunately it's by foreigners that are usually Indian I'm not trying to be rude or racist but that's just a fact she not only says well I'm sorry that happened to you but that's still very racist and you're basically saying that we're scamming company because we have foreigners and seeing our phone I say no that's not why I'm saying you're scamming company because I've tried to cancel my membership she cuts me up again but you didn't cancel I say but I did the guy said he took down my information for 5 minutes he was talking to me getting all my information said somebody would be contacting me back within 24 hours well that doesn't make it a scam just because nobody called me back but you said somebody would contact me back there's no way that would happen if somebody took your information back from Auto renewal center and said they would call you back within 24 hours they're going to contact you back within 24 hours I say to her see not only are you being so rude continuously cutting me off but you're calling me a liar and it doesn't matter I have a paper chair with my bank that started months ago telling them that I canceled this membership they have proof saying that they contacted you guys the merchant and that my membership had been canceled and that my money had been refunded already so then she said so then why are you even calling us I said you're the one that called me and you're being rude and disrespectful and harassing me but because I'm receiving letters in the mail saying that I still owe money then she says well I can't cancel your membership until you pay the balance that you're due so then I say well I'm sorry but I'm not paying that money I've canceled my membership and my bank has already released the funds back to me I'm just sick of receiving these harassing letters and I would like you to cancel my membership and then she says it doesn't matter your membership is going to cancel automatically after a certain amount of time of non-payment I say okay well I'm going to report you to BBB and she says you can do whatever you want you know you're racist and I say I'm not racist I'm just stating the fact that a lot of scammers are foreign and they are Indian and you're rude and disrespectful to me and this is obviously a scam she continues to say that this is not a scam I say how is this not a scam you've taken money from me provided me no services or proof of the service and any attempts that I have made to go through your company directly to cancel the membership have been inadequate how is this not a scam she keeps saying this is not a scam this is not a scam this is not a scam and then finally hangs up on me

as of now they've charged me $199 deposit August 14th September 14th they charged me $143 and October 14th they also charged me another $143 this is after I had made several attempts to the company via email and over phone call where they took all my information and said somebody would call me back within 24 hours and never did

So far I have received back the 199 from my bank the October 14th charge for 1:43 and then because of this phone call now getting back to what I mentioned earlier this lady was like very rudely and very cocky said well I see that we already were able to successfully charge you for one month so I don't know why now you're deciding to cancel I'm like okay well you can see that I was refunded the $199 she said so what's the problem then I said because I've already canceled this membership I just quietly didn't say anything when I realized that there was a month that I didn't realize I had been charged that I had not filed a claim so I went and looked in my bank account and sure enough there was a month in September that I totally forgot about even though I filed a claim for August and October so I went and called my bank and they were able to successfully file a claim and I'm sure it'll only be a matter of days before I receive back this 143 had I not been diligent and provided proof and all the proper timelines and information to my bank and had I've been one of those older people that still banks with private banks that are not always so good at refunding fraudulent charges thank God I'm a member of Wells Fargo and they almost always anytime you say something is fraudulent will give you the money back and just help you set up proper security measures I feel like such an [censored] and I was telling this to the guy on the phone and he just told me not to worry about it that these things happen all the time and now I'm more knowledgeable to be better aware in the future I will never ever ever again anytime somebody calls me offering me some special offer for an extended warranty for a home or a car I will never be the [censored] that thinks that it's the deal of a lifetime and signs up because now this has been three month process of trying to cancel with these people and like I said had I not had an amazing bank I would be out basically $700

Auto renewal center is a scam!

I can show timeline evidence as far as a screenshot of the day that I called in August to the number that's listed for auto renewal center like I said the original number that the guy on the phone gave me and did not work it went to the medco billing company he didn't provide me with a number directly to Auto renewal center when I went on the renewal Auto renewal website themselves they also don't have a phone number listed they have an email where you can reach out to them which I did email them directly through their website several times and never received a response in August and I'm going to post a screenshot of where I called that better bureau of business phone number that was listed for auto renewal it will show the number of minutes that I spent on the phone and then I'm going to show a screenshot where I was called today from a 949 number from a representative from the company where I was assaulted costed verbally called racist and then this woman basically goes back and forth with me harassing me and bullying me no apologies just being rude as hell and disrespectful!

What a scam artist she is bc she is just going along with it when she knows these people were scamming me...I provided a timeline and evidence and as stated above she kept arguing back and forth with me I felt like I was arguing with a disrespectful teenager who every time I would say something sensible was just negating it with just b******* at some points I could hear it in her voice like she was smirking and just enjoying this I got off the phone almost in tears and I was physically shaking on the inside because I was so upset shame on her and shame on this company!

along with screenshots of the time that I called twice on September 3rd before my 30-day got off to cancel I also posted a screenshot of the 949 in Irvine California number that called me harassing me today and I'm also posting screenshots from the better business bureau saying that they're not accredited showing their poor star rating and screenshots of several other people having very similar experiences to mine and their reviews on the BBB website

I received a call stating they were from the car company where I bought my vehicle, and my warranty expired, and went over all the plans and prices to obtain an extended warranty.
