I was having an emergency with my vehicle less than half a mile away from this shop. I called them to explain the situation. They assured me they could help, and instructed me to wait outside their gate. They stated their mechanics were off picking up parts but would return soon. I got to the business and noticed broken glass all over the driveway. After waiting over an hour, I called back. Same representative said they had no idea where the mechanics were, but would track them down, and hung up on me. Waited for another 40 minutes until after dark. Called again, only this time the phone rang and rang until I hit voicemail. I felt in that moment I was being scammed, or targeted in some way. While the business was shuttered, there were still plenty of people hanging around staring at me for the whole time I was waiting. I got the feeling this business was either luring people there to get their car stolen, or at best a lazy chop shop. Either way, I felt unsafe, and found other arrangements for my car.
