Do you have a current vehicle history report?
If not, I suggest getting one at this website: AutoAdviceBlog.com
The report is really inexpensive, only $19. A lot cheaper than Carfax, which is $40. The report will show any major accidents, title issues, if it was stolen, if it was flooded, etc.
You will get a lot more interest providing a report up front. Basically, showing that there is nothing to hide with the vehicle to potential buyers. It definitely helps sell faster.
Let me know if this helps. Thank you.

The site he mentioned is not even secure, and states in tiny letters at the very bottom of it that any clicks on the site, as someone would do if they were going to spend the 19.95 they were stating, would result in the site owners being paid - it all smelled like a scam, so I looked it up online and sure enough, it is - he was smart enough to claim that he had trouble getting messages through Craigslist message board, so to please contact him directly, as he knows Craigslist is on the lookout for scams like this

This push felt fishy, so I typed the website into my browser (didn't click) and came up with nothing. I then did a Google search for reputable vehicle history report vendors. Nope. This ScamPulse.com article confirmed my suspicion - it's a scam. https://www.bbb.org/article/news-releases/17576-avoid-the-latest-scam-with-this-...⇄
I'm too trusting!
I did call American Express immediately! They did research and contacted the company. It is legit. The report however, did not offer much info and wound up costing me $9.99. The company did say I have 60 days to get a refund if I'm not happy with the report.

I didn't even try to go to this website. The email was suspicious enough. Be careful out there!

So, I verified the legitimacy of the above mentioned website. As expected, a phishing site.
Vehicle sellers beware!
