I received an unsolicited mail attempting to scare me into buying a "motor vehicle service contract." The letter looks very official until you try to find out who actually SENT the mail. Neither the envelope nor the letter itself identifies the sender in any way. The sender *did* know my address and they *did* know that I had (somewhat) recently purchased a certain make and model of car. They even had the model-year correct which makes the "offer" look even more valid. But it isn't valid.
