Someone’s posts re a recent car for sale posts. Doesn’t object to price asks for location then only wants to communicate through texts. Then asks for you to pull a autovinfacts report which costs money. And theres no address for company on site.

I'm selling a car on Craigslist and someone sent me a text about the car. They wanted me to run a VIN history report using their specific site (autovinfacts.com). I was not familiar with that site so I pushed back on them saying I would provide a Carfax report and that's when their good English in text became broken. Upon further review, this website does not appear to be legitimate. They did not provide an email. They wanted to meet to see the car but kept changing time and then when I would not give them the report they were very angry. I have since blocked the number and I want to share this information with others so they are aware if they sell a car in the future.
