Scammer called me as soon as I picked up he hung up in my face. Immediately after he texted me saying he lost service and had questions about my vehicle . He asked me the mileage which was a little strange to me because I have the mileage listed on the Craigslist ad . However, I answered his question. Second was he asked me to go to a site called autovinncheck.com to send him the vehicle history report on my vehicle and to email him at [email protected] . I told him I will not purchase the vehicle history report but that I can give him the vin number for him to purchase the report himself he stopped texting back . So I googled online about vehicle report history scams and pursued reporting it for others in my same situation.
