Type of a scam Tech Support
I was contacted by a number of people representing a variety of aspects of the company's workforce from sales to technical to security divisions. They showed me how my network and computer have supposedly been hacked and that I was at risk for large financial losses. The tech (Sam Morgan) said they can block the hacker for one hour but I have to purchase sonicwall NSA 3600 (1389.00) and that would prevent any hackers from my network, but that I would have to make out a check and send it to them ASAP. So supposedly they fixed my network security by adding a icon (Sonic Wall NSA) and told me that it all runs in the background and i was all set.. (Just send the check). Well needless to say I didn't send the check. I wanted to check them out. Seems I was not the only one that was scammed.
