I received an e mail from Avast that is a receipt for renewal of anti virus and malware for my computer. It states that payment of $499.99 via direct debit was successfully processed for a term of two years. I called the number on the invoice, and the man advised me that I have to enter into the google search bar cxssupport.us address to initiate a refund. I have no recollection of ever ordering an anti virus package and told the guy. He said that it was from when I ordered my computer. My Mac desktop is over 10 years old; no way I would order this. The man got very upset when I wouldn't enter the e mail address and I just got a bad feeling about the whole thing and hung up on him. I have not seen the charge show up anywhere, but if it does I will certainly dispute. Something is off on this whole thing

Victim Location85040 Type of a scamAdvance Fee Loan
I received an email from someone named James Paris claiming to be a loan manager with Avant loans. The documents attached shows that this is a potential scam, as I have read through it thoroughly, with the numerous spelling errors and the way the loan conditions were documented, looks fraudulent. I then received a call from this person at 323-486-5095 wanting to clarify and stated that his company process personal loans, and wanting to help their customers with paying their bills. I explained to him that I contacted Avant Loans, which are located in Chicago, IL and not in Los Angeles, he then became defensive and stated "if you don't trust us as a company, I'm not going to make you." He then disconnected the call. I have not signed any documents or agreed to this loan agreement, I just want to make sure it was reported to the BBB.

Received email from avant advertising as being recommended by credit karma. Filled out info to receive a debt consolidation loan. Was told to give social security number, 2 years of tax info, upload images if ID, blank check, routing number and account number and photo. Received an approval but after I sent the requested info, I was denied claiming my credit score was low when it wss used for an approval for debt consolidation, which I pay every month on time. I received all the loan info plus the monthly payments. I believe my info will be sold for terrorist operation reasons. The rep name was Rachel.
