The company advertised as a locally owned and operated. It is not. You can't find a street address. When you try to call, you have to leave a message and someone with a foreign accent answers the phone

Attempted to purchase flowers for a family member. I used Google to search for flower vendors. Avas Flowers came up as the first result. Claimed to be locally owned and cabalbe. I paid for the purchase using my credit card and was told that the flowers would arrive the next day on Dec 2nd 2024. I was then notified that Avas was unable to complete the delivery and that I needed to contact them to resolve the issue. However, Avas Flowers has an automated call system that prevents customers from reaching the required support. Multiple re-directs for "new" phone numbers or refferals to thier website which will reject any claim. When I finally did get a hold of an actual human being, that person told me that the flowers would be delivered. by Dec 4th 2024. Twenty minutes after that phone call I recived a notification that Avas Flowers was once again unable to complete my order. I asked for a refund since they had failed to deliver what I paid for and was put on hold for 20 minutes until I was forced to hang up. They attempted to reach out after I disconnected but immediatley put me back on hold.

In summary, I paid for flowers to be delivered. These flowers were not delivered despite my credit card being billed. I made mulitiple attempts to adjust the delivery date and work with Avas Flowers but no action was taken to deliver the flowers. When I attempted to cancel my order and get a refund, I was ignored until I could no longer waste time being on hold.

More so you purchase a product (flowers) and they never deliver (per the yelp reviews sounds like it is a common problem)

Avas Flowers in the Greenville, SC area is a hoax. Someone send me flowers and I have not yet to receive them, today is February 16, 2024. The customer tried several times to call for an update on his order. On Valentines morning he received a text stating his order was being delivered. Before noon, he received an email stating his order will be delivered on February 16, 2024, instead of February 14, 2024. As the customer receiving the gift, attempted to contact the company, so I may come pick up my gift at their location instead. The customer representative NEVER asked me my name, address, or order number. The representative informed me, they were unable to look up my order by my name, address, or order number. After several attempts to understand they were unable to look up any information about my order, I personally received a text to my phone.

I placed an order for a flower arrangement and the arrangement that the person received did not look even similar to the one I paid for. It was different colors and of much lower quality and style. The arrangement I choose was voluminous with red roses, red carnations, white daisies and enough foliage that it looked ful. The one received had 3 red roses, 3 carnations, and hardly any foliage. It was a pathetic and sad case with flowers. Which were not even arranged in a pretty way. It was so disappointing to pay $72 for something that looked so cheap and maybe worth $20.
