Avast popped up on my 80 year old mother's computer claiming she needed to secure her computer. She then signed up for multiple services. When I became aware, I have reached out to them to cancel and get a refund, but they are being difficult. These people are not to be trusted. I am not sure when they reside. Please just warn others. She has insecurity about Internet safety from being targeted in a completely different scam, and Avast took advantage. They are predatory.
