But when I finally did they only confused everything even more by opening like 3 reservations for the same day under my name BUT canceling my ticket to fly BUT STILL CONFIRMING me thru calls and email that everything was ok to go. The day of the flight came 10/4/24 and as I gave my passport at the counter I was told you have reservations BUT NO TICKET??? call avianca they said? I spent 2 hours there trying to get a live operator when finally I got thru that operator and manager told me I can only help you file a ticket so someone can call you??? To this day no one has called or fixed anything. While they blame my bank they still have my money which they make it hard to get as you need to fill out a ticket onlinr with a code that I dont have because remember I have no ticket??? Without that you can not get reimbursed.
because of the urgency of my travel and as much as I dislike this company I had no choice but to buy another ticket which by now is more costly because they dont even want to help me in getting the old price I paid for the original ticket. And just to confirmed their accusations agianst my bank been the one responsible I called Chase Bank and explained the whole situation and they said that they DID NOT CANCELED ANYTHING, the the only thing they could of done was to put a claim on a paid unwanted transation and that their proof is that Avianca still has the money for one of those transactions while they reimbursed the rest that they made to your card......
Because of now been short notice the prices of other airlines are to the roof.
2 days later on 11/6/24 I will show up again hoping this time I can make it to my distanation.
This is the worst airline, please do something about it because if they did this to me that means im not the only one going thru unnecessary trouble all because of their lack of respect for their customers..Please look into the history of complaints against àvianca airlines they are stealing and making customers suffer.
I am still trying to make a claim to get my money back as im still waiting on an email they said I will get because that's supposedly what they do when they file a claim for you???? Well still nothing!!!!!
