We had been applying for Debt Consolidation loans and I received a phone call on my cell phone for my husband that he was approved for a personal loan in the amount we had requested. So I had him call her back and it sounded legitmate and they have a website and everything set up. Then the next day when we were suppose to get the funds into our account she stated that we needed to put down 2 months payments for a total of $996.66 and that we needed to Zelle the payment to a certain number well we did that and then she said that the lenders wanted 1 more month down. At this point I became leary but we were desparate as I had been out of work for 8 months and our bills were behind so our credit was bad so it sounded legit. Then after we did the 3rd payment I asked to speak to her supervisor and wanted to cancel this transaction and get our money back. She stated that she put in a request for the refund but it would take 30 days to refund. Well 30 days came around and no money in our account and I called the 800 Number that they had down and it is no longer in service..so we got took....
