Avielle Anti-Aging Reports & Reviews (3)

I was offered a free sample of this product. My credit card was charged $6.95 for shipping. I received the cream and eye-serum last year, and was not expecting to be
charged for any subscription.

I just received a call from one of the "managers" at the company. It was hard to understand her because of her accent and that she spoke so quickly, but remembered that I had paid shipment fee for a "free" trial almost a year ago.
The "manager" offered me a 60% discount of the full price of $89.00, and told me
that unless I agreed to accept the discount, I would be charged the full price, and
her company would pursue the issue until the full amount was paid. I asked her what the name of her company was and what her name was, but she would not
give me the information. She told me that this was "your fault". Unbelievably rude.
and accused me of being uncooperative and "yelling" at her? I continued to demand
to know her name and the name of her company. She would not give me the information. I kept asking, and she finally hung up on me. The name and number
on my caller id said: Dvondr Thornton #770-329-6870.
I will be notifying my bank to make sure that my credit card is not charged.
Beware. These people are ruthless.

I saw an add for these anti-aging products on social media and decided to try them based on the offer to only pay $6.95 for shipping for a 7 day trial. The $6.95 per product was charged immediately and the items were shipped. Six days later, I received the products. On day 7, my credit card was charged $96.95 TWICE, once for each of the two products. I had not even had them for 24 hours and hadn't even tried them. I called the customer service number and she told me that by ordering I had agreed to their terms and conditions of the "7 day shipping trial" whatever that means. I assumed it meant I had 7 days from when I received the products but apparently they mean (but do not explain) that it's 7 days from the order date. They agreed to cancel my subscription account but said they would not refund the charges for the current shipment that I received. The customer service rep then said she could give me her "employee discount" of 30% in order to reduce the cost of the what I had been billed. She would refund me the 30% and I would pay the rest. But in exchange for that, I had to agree not to pursue any further action (I had already told her I was going to dispute the charges with my credit card company). I asked her to direct me to the term and conditions so I could re-read them and when I did re-read them, it turned out that I was entitled to "10 day shipping trial" because I had made my purchase with a MasterCard. So, by that standard, I was within my 10 day window and should have been able to cancel for a full refund. I read this section of the terms and conditions back to the rep and she said she needed to talk to a manager. She put me on hold for a long time and then came back and said that they were going to give me the full refund but she made it sound as if they were doing me a favor, rather than just following their own written policy. If I had not insisted on reviewing those terms and conditions again, I would have fallen for the 30% scam and paid $140 unnecessarily. This company is very deceptive in its business practices and I would advise anyone to avoid doing business with them.

I ordered the Avielle Anti-Aging Face Cream and Anti-Aging Eye Serum as a "gif" for shipping and handling only. I, like most others, was unaware of the "membership" that is automatically set up without knowing. Which seems to give them free range on our charging our bank accounts/credit cards.

I found some info here: https://www.callupcontact.com/b/businessprofile/Avielle_Face_Cream_Reviews/77563... />
Which has a number and address. But I'm still not sure how good this info is, as it is almost impossible to get in touch with them.

Although, I'll have to say, I am actually pleased with the products' results so far, I just don't want to be charged hundreds of dollars on it without my consent.
