I purchased a puppy from [email protected]. Then I received a text from Avril Pet Movers saying I had to pay $810.00 for insurance. The second day I received another text saying I need to pay $950.00 for a thermal cage so my puppy could be shipped. They wanted this money on American Express gift cards. The third day I received a text saying I needed to send $400.00 more dollars to pay for the feeding and nanny service to take care of my puppy, I told them I did not have anymore money to send. I told them I knew they were scamming me. Then on the fourth day I received another text saying they were waiting on the $400.00. I told them that if they wanted anymore money they had to call me. And they called me and my husband

I thought I had purchased a puppy and this company was going to ship my puppy. The first time they contacted me they said I needed to buy insurance of $810.00 before the puppy could be shipped. The second day they called and asked for $950.00 for a thermal cage for the puppy to be shipped. So I sent that with gift cards. They requested American Express cards. The third day they sent me a text wanting $400.00 more for feeding and nanny service for taking care of the puppy. And I told them that I was out of money and could not send them anything else. I told him then that I knew he was scamming me. But on the fourth day he texted me again saying he was waiting on the $400.00. I sent him a text that if he wanted anymore money from me he had to call me and the fool called me and my husband tried to talk to him but he hung the phone up.

I was scammed by Avril Pet Movers as detailed in previous complaint. I also want to add Debbieyorkies to this complaint. They were the sellers of the so called puppy and work along side Avril to scam you.

I purchased a puppy that was in Oklahoma. The seller used this company to transport to me in Missouri. First, they only communicate through text. The first they asked for was $810 for insurance. Then $997 because they said the crate was not fedex approved. Last was a USDA certificate they said Missouri needed. 5 yrs $4000 3 yrs $3500 or 1 yr for $2550. They said they were willing to take $800 though. All three of these were guaranteed refunds
of course. My bank stopped the 800 because the email address it was to be sent to had been red flagged for fraudulent activity. They are good too. They give you a tracking number and it even shows movement until you stop paying them. They never got the 800 and I opened a case fraud for the rest. I may never get that back. I also opened a case against the seller due to being suspicious they were all working together. My bank said this was common and they have a lot of scams reported over puppy purchases and there was never a puppy at all. Beware and adopt local!

Do not trust this business at all , I've found a breeder who was able to ship me two puppies but the company wanted so many fee's just for them to be delivered. As in an insurance down payment , Crate down payment and now a delivery fee down payment. I only gave them the insurance and crate down payment since it was $800 each but when they told me I had to pay $5,000 for them to be delivered I knew it was scam. Don't be like me and trust any website company , do your research.
