On linkdin, someone set up a real estate assistant ad to Hire appraisers to work remote. We started to get phone calls asking questions about the job, and we knew nothing about it. We tried to find the ad, and it was removed as said the people who were calling. They couldn't find the ad, but had emails and "applications" for the hire. Some people caught on quickly it was a scam, but we had a couple people call, that gave up their SSN, Address, DOB, ect to this person.
