We were searching for a Dachshund puppy, and found Awesome Dachshund Puppies. We found a puppy we liked, and inquired. The next day we received an email asking us normal questions about who we were. We "passed" the qualifications and were told the puppy was available. We needed to post a deposit, which we did via Zelle to the email address [email protected]. We were told a contract would be forthcoming. The next day, we made a second payment to another phone via Apple Pay, and was told a contract and delivery date would be forthcoming. A contract never came, and when I was pressing for delivery details, the person got very agitated and insisted that I trust him. He insisted that he couldn't know what plane the puppy would be on until he got to the airport Friday morning. That seemed off to me, and I pressed to get the details on Thursday night. He agreed.

I contacted them on Wednesday to verify the age of the puppy to make an appointment with my vet, and that was unanswered.

On Thursday, I started again calling and texting to which there was no reply.

I then searched on line, and found this website was listed as a Puppy Scam.
