I found them on Facebook marketplace and sent them a message about buying a 40ft high top shipping container with side doors for $3600. They asked for my name and email to send an invoice for payment. I couldn’t pay with a card through the invoice and I told them that. So they sent their info for a bank transfer. I was scared to do it but I couldn’t get one local so I took a chance. I sent the wire transfer through my first security bank. After that they said they would send a tracking number once it had been shipped. So about a weeks or so went by and got nothing. So I called and emailed them and finally they sent me tracking. Then the next day they asked me for another $1261.90 for sales tax on my state and insurance that was refundable. Once I seen that I called and told them I wasn’t paying that and I wanted to cancel the order and get a refund immediately. I was told to reply to the original invoice email to make the request so I did. I’ve replied and called every day since and no response. I even tried replying to the original Facebook message and it wouldn’t send. I just don’t know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
