Claimed to be the final step in registering my business with the secretory of state which is in downtown phoenix. That was the first clue. The communication appears to be a bill for 87.25. Although they do state they are not a government agency they do make if appear that this must be paid to stay in good standing.

I recently started an LLC and a few weeks later received an official appearing letter which used deceptive language to solicit money for a certificate of good standing in AZ. The letter implied that in order to finish registering with the ACC I needed to obtain this letter so that my business could open up bank accounts or take out loans, etc. I received a copied letter of good standing from the AZCC on a single piece of paper which I later found could be obtained for $10. The scammer had charged about $87. The address and phone number seem to be worthless as well to get a hold of the company.
