I’m looking for a part time LPN position and entered my details in to JobSeeker website. I received and email from Azmath Mohammed stating he worked for CapLeo Global and said the the Michigan Department of Corrections was looking for Covid testers. I became suspicious after he asked me to send him a copy of my driver’s license. Unfortunately because I really need a job I sent him a pic of my drivers license and now I’m worried it’s a scam and I will be a victim of identity theft.

I fell for the CapLeo scam as well. I provided the last 4 of my SSN, resume, and nursing license. I have reported them to the FTC, I put a fraud alert on my credit report, and I have reported them to Indeed.com. I found them on LinkedIn and reported them there too. However, LinkedIn advised they did not see any evidence of fraud. I have blocked the recruiter on my LinkedIn profile Nikita "Kiran" Chowdary. I am not sure what they are planning to do with my information. Take precautions now.
