This scammer offered a personal assistant positions in which the hiree would be sent a check to purchase items to be bought and sent to foster homes. After receiving the check the scammer sent an email stating that the list of items would be taken care of and to simply deposit the check into my account and remove my cut before wiring the rest to someone else. The bank quickly informed me of the scam and kept the check in their possession.
