Sold expo and speaker slot in high-pressure sale for $5000. Forced to sign contract during call (3:30 pm ET). Contract was blurry in Adobe sign, was told would get a copy via email to review. Found out the next moring that we had a conflict and would be in DC same days. Emailed to cancel at 9:00 am. Told entire fee was due in order to cancel and that was in the contract signed. A week later told that the account is overdue and that the fee is now $10,000. If not paid within 24 hours will go to collection and will double again.
