Type of a scam Online Purchase
"I’ll like to tell you that I’m aware of all the bad things going on now
over the internet. But be rest assured that this isn’t one of such. We are a God fearing family who will never take advantage of anyone. We work so
hard to earn a living and will never rip off any person’s hard earned money because this is a crime and it’s also a sin in the eyes of God. We are trusting you and deciding to let you have our Kitten so we will highly appreciate your trust in return. All we are interested in is finding the
best home for our Kitten and not ripping people off their money."
So naive and trusting me fell for that "god fearing", "will never rip off any person" bunch of lies. I provided them with full shipment details (name, shipping address, email address, closest major airport) and agreed to give them half the amount they wanted ($425 out of the $850) and the balance after bill of sale and shipment details given. They requested I send the money over via Zelle to Alexus Randall ([email protected]). Once the money was transferred over I never heard from them again. They were contacting me via text using the following phone numbers: 814-888-2956 and 814-318-2718.
