Type of a scam Online Purchase
I took a look around the website and decided to order 3 products from their "Best Sellers" section. I entered my payment information (VISA) and received an Order Confirmation email. This all took place on January 13, 2017.
The link in the Order Confirmation email gave me the option to VIEW MY ORDER, which showed me a summary of what I ordered, an order#, and the following statement -
"Your shipment is confirmed
We've accepted your order, and we're getting it ready. A confirmation email has been sent to ***. Come back to this page for updates on your shipment status"
I continually checked back, and this message never changed to give more specific tracking information.
On January 18/17 I received another email notifying me that my order had been shipped, again, no specific tracking information was provided.
Since it was International Shipping, I decided to give it a little time to see if there was any updates or deliveries. On January 31/17 I sent an email outlining my concern that there was no official tracking details to help me view where exactly my purchase was at the time. I received the following response via email on Feb 1/17:
Hi ***,
Thank you for shopping with us! We are doing our best to ensure your product gets to you soon as possible! Due to International Holiday Celebrations we are experiencing shipping delays from our international warehouses. We assure you that your item is on it's way. Please except our apologies for any inconvenience caused during this time.
Please let us know how we can help and we will get back to you. Thanks.
Since this still seemed somewhat reasonable, I kept waiting.
On Feb 21/17, I still had not received anything and was now beginning to think this was not a legitimate website or purchase. I sent another email again expressing my concern over not having any updates/details and not receiving my order.
On Feb 25/17 I received the following response via email:
I apologize for the late response. I know how you feel regarding about this. Our team is doing their best. The product have been shipped. So it will be delivered 3 to 5 business days.
I noticed the bad grammar, and the unofficial means or communications and now had major red flags.
To date I have not received a thing. I sent another email notifying the company that I would begin reporting and taking action to notify other customers and authorities. This email was sent on March 10/17 and has gone unanswered.
