Called for Repair on my Power wheelchair. When I got the wheelchair back it wasn't my power wheelchair. They made one to look like mine.

Representative came to our home on 1/19/2023 and indicated they were doing asphalt work across the street and would have leftover material that they wanted to just get their cost for. They stated it would go bad if they did not use it and it would help them and that's why they wanted to give it to us at their cost. They stated $3/ft for the work. During a phone call, they stated up to 1,000 ft would be covered for an amount of $3,000, which was agreed upon. There was a subsequent call indicating there was not enough material and said there would be a second partial truck needed and asked if we wanted to try to finish. I stated then that should be $6000 (2 trucks) and expected the amount would double to $6,000 (at most). When the work was complete we were asked to pay $22,500 based on square foot pricing. I explained that at no time did they say it was priced that way and that was misleading. We went back and forth and finally agreed to $9,000. It was written on the contract that it was paid in full and when check was deposited they wrote on it "deposit only". They also indicated the asphalt would be 2" thick but there are many areas where it is less than an 1". We already have cracking in these locations 2 days after the work was completed. We recognize that a written quote is what we should have gotten but, they are quite crafty at what they are doing by being very cordial and complimentary upon initial contact. Then they are ready for the confrontation when they present you with a much steeper bill than expected, having an answer for every way you question them. The business is based out of Pennsylvania yet has a Davenport, FL address on their business card. It appears the address is a UPS store location.
