Ball-official.com and Mason-official.com are the same china-based companies selling counterfeit lids for Ball and mason preserving jars.

Contact:

[email protected] name is JiaHong this is the Ball-official site person. The sold me $124.17 worth of ftadulant, counterfeit wide-mouth lids that curl up when placed in boiling water. they refuse to return my money

These same people also operate Mason-officialsite.com. All identical ads. All a scam. All counterfeit defective products made in China.

Someone from China has set up multiple websites claiming to be/sell American made, Ball brand canning lids and other products (there is currently a canning supply shortage in the US). They advertise the Ball SureTight brand lids, made in the USA, and then once you've purchased (at a huge markup - 12 lids are normally ~$2.50/pkg of 12 lids, they're selling for $8-$10/pkg) and paid through Paypal, the confirmation email is from a gmail account, and lids originate in China (per my tracking).

Newell Brands owns Ball, Kerr, and Bernardin brand lids, and they state that all their lids are made in the USA. The lids I received originated in China, have no branding, and don't have the normal sealing band. I don't feel comfortable preserving food with a fraudulent product, so they're a loss to me. I've been trying to recover my money, but have had no luck yet.
