I bought a rug through Ballard Designs 1/30/2024 and it was initially supposed to be delivered 2/19/24. I received a call from Fragil Pak the week of 2/13 or maybe 2/14 asking how my delivery went on 2/12? I told the rep on the phone that the delivery was not scheduled until 2/19, so not delivery had been received yet. She sounded confused and just kinda hung up. That was my first clue that something was not right. Then, I waited out the day on 2/19 for my delivery to arrive and it did not arrive. When I called Ballard designs to find out about the delivery, they had no information --ZERO EXPLAINATION as to what might have happened. If there had been some sort of explaiantion, I would have understood, but the total lack of explaination seemed odd. Never the less, they told me they would reschedule the delivery and get me my rug. The delivery was rescheduled to the next friday 2/23. Again, I waited all day at my house and no rug arrived. I called Ballard that day to find out what was going on. The rep supposedly called the fragil pak delivery driver and the warehouse. She advised me that no one answered. She did advise me that she saw that the rug was loaded onto a truck that morning. I kept calling every couple of days and still, no one in the Ballard designs service department had any explaiation whatso ever for what was going on.
