I messaged him on Facebook Chat and said I wanted to buy a Cockatoo but didn't have a lot of money. I told him I was a disabled ex-police officer, and veteran. He said he would help me. I paid him a total of $500.00 in two transactions. Then he kept delaying shipment. He said he used Delta for shipping. Then he came up with this thing about temperature controlled shipping crates. He said he was concerned about the birds welfare. I told him I had no more money. He said dont worry about it.
Finally, he was supposed to ship my bird on May 4, 2023. That day he messaged me and said he needed another $100.00 to ship my bird that day. I reminded him he had my money and I was broke. In his last message he said let him work on it and see what he could do. I never heard from him again. He took his Facebook profile down. I cannot contact him, he took my money but never shipped my bird. He sent me photos of 2 ownership documents. I also received a brief video of my bird.
