Type of a scam Phishing
this is one of the locations denham springs, la. 225-503-1182 + hundreds of other numbers. blocking will do no good. will just call from a different number.
this time when they called, i did not pick up because i knew denhem springs was one of the telemarker locations with loads of different numbers. however, i called back manually to see if they were ghosting. a real person did pickup the phone 'after a pause and click' and a real person said he was with a cruise line. really aggressive and not shutting up to listen that i dont want their calls...ever!
when i looked up this same number on white pages...the owner of this number is a company called bandwidth.com.
so i googled the web site...the site seems to be some police or law enforcement 'spoof' on the first page, then on the second there is a place to report and get legal services from unwanted calls...when they are the spammers????
these guys are not out to help you. they are hiding behind many fronts and the only agenda is to get your personal information to sell to other spammers.
