I received a messenger message to purchase an item I had for sale on Facebook Marketplace. They proceeded to pay me via PayPal, more than the asking price plus shipping. My Paypal account wouldn't accept the larger amount and then I started getting emails from "paypal" that I needed to have the purchaser send me more money to increase the account limit and then I would need to refund them. All the while, this person was giving me play by play on what to do in messenger, as they experienced this before. I told them it didn't feel right and was researching. Once I sent them issues from the ScamPulse.com site, they replied to me with "oh ok" and that was the end of them.

They used fake emails looking like PayPal. BEWARE!
