Bark.com tries to match up customers with businesses via the pay for leads model. They encourage you to purchase a subscription for their elite services (it places you at the top of their search site). One month I emailed them to cancel my subscription as there is no way to do it on their site. I canceled my subscription after I noticed double charges for the same product. For the last 4 months, I've had to email them to stop running my credit card and they keep confirming it's been removed from the system. This month I saw they removed my account from their system (im happy I no longer do business with them) without any notice to me. They did take my money also by canceling my account, I had unused credits on the account which you have to pay for. The leads they provide on the site rarely convert to customers and it makes you wonder if they are real customers to begin with.

A confusing and miss leading company. Offers contract leads but they never materialized. Bait you to spend money on a system which seems very suspicious.

Bark.com has used my name and email address to place fake service requests for services on their website. They charge providers money for these leads that are completely fake. Unwitting people such as myself received emails from providers for services we never requested. I contacted several providers and they state a lot of people never respond to them after placing requests. This is because they are fake requests mixed in with real ones so Bark.com can charge for the fake leads to increase their revenue.
