Contacted (voicemail) by and individual , named Robert , claiming a legal claim against me and it’s my last chance to resolve before they persue legal action. Called and I was forward to two different individuals at Barr and associates (that is what they identified the business as. Kevin and Miles , they had my date of birth and last 4 of my social. They claimed 200 debt from discover card that has not been paid and it was being filed through a small claims court. They referenced the credit card number I am not familiar with.

I called discover and they informed that this number is not from their discover and there are no claims against me or liabilities owed.

I called back “Barr and associates” and they falsely claimed that I had a debt from 2007 and the id that was used to open the account was from Texas. No other proof was provided. For the record that card number referenced is not my card number form discover , the driver license number is not mine as I never lived in Texas in 2007 and only moved to Texas in 2013. Also they only mentioned Texas because that is public Information. Definate scam
