I applied for a customer service position on indeed for Bartlett Soccer Association. After applying for the position, I received an email back stating that my application has been reviewed and that I needed to do a remote interview but I had to download an app called Signal to do so. After downloading the app I received a phone number to add and contact through messaging, after reaching out and having a two hour long message chat, I was told that I would be sent out a check to order my equipment to work from home and to reach out to them as soon as the check got delivered. The check was delivered by UPS at 9 AM to my door And I open the check and reached out on Signal app to the Job to let them know that I got the check and asked what the website was that I needed to order from and I would go and deposit the checks but they instructed me to send them a photo of the check photo Back and front which I thought was extremely strange so I declined and tried to video chat for more information and was never answered. So then I sent over a link from the news about working from home scam artist and they left the chat and have not responded back since.
