Received an offer via text message at 6463498809 to participate in a project that was found form the website "Now Casting" I was told to email [email protected] in order to participate. I was asked for pictures as well as my resume. I was then told I was selected for a role in an upcoming commercial. I was sent a phony and bogus contract and sent a phony check. Do not do fall for this. The individual contacting you is not Andrew Smyth. You will lose your money, the company is not real and a fake. Do not accept any offers asking you to send money out to someone for wardrobe. An entertainment company would never ask you to do this. Be vigilant double and triple check scams like this. I have reported this person to the FBI and police.

Was contacted regarding an acting job shoot to be in Atlanta through base once productions director Andrew Smyth. He sends back-and-forth lengthy emails regarding the job even has you signed a contract then FedEx you a check for $*** tells You $*** is your booking deposit and the other $*** is to be paid to the wardrobe department. He looks legit he has legitimate website he send you a real looking check don’t fall for it. You’ll deposit the check your bank will clear it in 2 days you’ll send the money off for so called “wardrobe” and then your bank will come back to you saying the check has bounced.
