A code appeared on our dryer that the dryer vent duct was blocked. Called Coast2Coast, which had an ad in Prestige Living, for Air Duct & Dryer Vent Cleaning package. Two fellows from Coast2Coast, who came in two different vehicles with no signage on their vehicles & who did not have business cards but did have a hang tag that said Coast2Coast Air Duct Cleaning but it a different phone number on it then the number I called. The one fellow supposedly did the cleaning. After they left and I then washed clothes a few days later and put the clothes in the dryer, the code appeared again that the dryer vent duct was blocked. So called company again (several times) to request the technician to come back & to do the cleaning properly. Company sent a person from another company, who they help each other out. This fellow said that the vent looked cleaned. So, I then thought something must be wrong with the dryer, so I went out bought a new dryer. The first time, I used this new dryer, the code came up that dryer vent duct was blocked, which meant that nothing was wrong with my dryer but that Coast2Coast never cleaned the dryer vent duct.

So, I called, texted & sent e-mails to Coast2Coast many, many times to let them know that they didn’t do the job I paid them to do and was informed by Coast2Coast’s receptionist that she would pass all the information onto the owner & assured me that he would call back that day. To this day, have never heard from Coast2Coast. So, in the meantime, I hired & paid another company to come & check out the dryer vent & he found that the screen was blocked with a thick amount of lint. This person gave the mess screen with the lint on it as proof.

I incurred the following expenses because Coast2Coast did not do what they were paid to do:

Coast2Coast: $515.68

New Dryer: $675.98

Other Dryer Vent Cleaning Company: $136.00

Total: $1,327.61

I would not have had to buy a new dryer & incur the cost of the other dry vent cleaning company had Coast2Coast done the job they were paid to do.

If ScamPulse.com checks the reviews on Coast2Coast, each review says this company is a SCAM - DO NOT USE THEM.
