They reached out as a recruiter for a freight company that was expanding in the US (specifically Charlotte). She had a reasonably specific job description. I was required to send my resume if interested. After a week or so, Human Resources person from the company reached out and let me know that they were interested, but I had to fill out a questionnaire and talk with a person for an interview. The company was headquartered in Sweden but had a regional office in NYC. After filling out the questionnaire, I was notified a few days later that I was going to be part of a four week training program. They would send daily study information and I would take weekly tests on Friday (it was an incredible amount of detail and effort). They followed up after each test and let me know how I did and that I qualified to get extra work that they would pay me to do, in addition to my paid training. In the third week, the extra work was to assist in purchasing electronic equipment with their purchasing dept. I didn't respond and haven't received an email since.
