I received the product 5 days ago, and yesterday my account was charged $80 from a company titled "Skincrea". The bank had a phone number attached to that info, but nothing else to identify who the company was. I didn't realize it was Rejuvolyte, but had my suspicions since I don't purchase anything on the internet, except through Amazon! So, this had to be this recent sample order, right?
The phone number the bank gave me was 855-261-6068, business hrs M-F, 9-9pm. I called first thing this morning and waited on hold for 30 minutes for a rep to answer. Stephanie, agent 056 took my call. As soon as I told her that I had signed up for a sample, she said that wasn't true, that I'd checked a box indicating that I understood the terms. I told her I read every single word of the website/page before signing up for the sample, there was not one word indicating that I was ordering a "14 day trial" (as she claimed) that would charge my account monthly, and automatically. There was not one word of that on the site, I read it over and over before doing what I NEVER do, which is place an order on line. I told Stephanie that I'd already spoken to my bank and they were going to begin taking action today, as soon as I called them. She immediately offered me a 50% discount monthly. I said, "Absolutely not, this company is a scam." and so she said, "How about 60% off monthly?" She said she couldn't give me a refund because the bank had filed a dispute. I told her they hadn't filed it yet, and were waiting for my confirmation that I'd reached the company on the phone first. She then said I could mail the products back, they'd refund me 80%, and it would take up to 3 wks to see the refund. I said, "That is unacceptable." She then said, "We can clear this up right now. I can refund you 75% today and you keep the products, and we cancel your account." After talking with husband while she sat on the phone, we agreed to that. I got a cancelation number from her, transaction ID #'s, and we should be refunded $67.44 and $63.71 for both products. I then told her that the company is clearly making it's money by offering this bogus "refund", because if the products were really legit, and the company was a reputable company, they wouldn't need to have a fraudulent link on facebook that leads you to a page that is separate from the website that she claimed she was looking at while we were on the phone. The site that I had been to and ordered from, didn't even have anywhere that you could order the products, and no prices listed. It was just an offer for free samples if you paid for the shipping. When I looked this company up online this morning, it doesn't seem to exist anywhere. On the side of the cream it says BAYSIDE MEDIA, inc. Palisades Park, NJ 07650. There isn't any website or info online for that company either. Do not get sucked in to this scam. What a nightmare.
