I was looking online for an African Grey Congo, and came across a site that had hand raised Congo’s. The price was $600.00. The name of the seller is under B&B Bird Place. I asked for more info and asked to speak to him over the phone. He did call me as well as many texts and answeres to my questions. He said it would be an additional $120.00 for transportation fee. I told him I did not have that and that I would call back when I got the money together. He then texted me later on that evening and said he would wave the transportation fee. I was so excited that I would finally get my bird. Next day, I received a call from Coastal Logistic Shippers saying that I needed to rent an air conditioned crate in order to transport my bird. They wanted $1,255.00 in cash which they said was refundable minus a %5 fee. I did not have this money and was told the bird would be returned to seller. I then called and texted the seller, left a message and have not gotten a response at all. I am so upset about this whole situation, plus my $600.00.
