I received a phone call today from a phone number 598-653-2457 claiming to be the ScamPulse.com acting under the data protection act to give me a refund because of a company that I did business with previously called a yogi they did work on my computer I paid them twice once in the amount of $299 and again in the amount of $220 so they were supposed to be issuing me a refund of $520 they want another license ID Of my computer and they had me go through a bunch of different things on my computer to find it and lo and behold the number they gave me matched my computer so they asked me to enter a card that they could refund the amount to make sure it was a card to use frequently so that there wouldn't be any problems I entered my debit card number and I pulled my bank account up on the computer and it showed a deposit of 1220 which was $700 too much they didn't prompted me to scroll to the bottom of the screen where there was a message saying that I needed to purchase a gift card that the money could electronically be transferred back to them which threw up red flags to me so I told them I was going to hang up and call my bank and call the police department and at that time my computer screen went black so I turned off my computer and called my bank they saw no such transaction and they put canceled my card and issued me a new card and put a hold on my bank account I'm calling the police department as well but I wanted to file this with the ScamPulse.com so that they know that someone was acting fraudulently on your behalf if this was a true refund I would appreciate a letter from the ScamPulse.com be sent to me personally
