This email mentions a case number that is not accurate to ScamPulse.com numbers (usually starts with 22 and i 8 digits long where as this one starts with a 9 and has a link).I did not click it, I confirmed with ScamPulse.com it is not real.

A business owner was sent an email posing to be from ScamPulse.com regarding a complaint. The email was sent from [email protected] with the subject line:

"Better Business Bureau - Customer Dispute Center CASE #975452448".

The ScamPulse.com does not format their subject lines in this manner and does not use the domain in the email. The email formed below contains grammar and phrases that do not coincide with Better Business Bureau practices.

The email read as follows:

Received an e-mail from [email protected] indicating that there was an active case against my business. The email referenced a case # of 9754524486 - the same case number in similar complaints. The e-mail asks to click on a link to resolve customer issues. I did not click on anything so there was no actual loss on my end. Other than the e-mail obviously originating outside of the Better Business Bureau the e-mail listed the incorrect name of my business.

I called the ScamPulse.com 844.477.1099 and spoke to Joscelyn, she is copied on this email. She asked me to forward the email to this email address for further assistance.

Please let me know what we need to do to resolve this issue.
