On Wednesday, August 17, 2016, my elderly parents were approached by a man and woman in a pick-up regarding repairing their driveway. There was no company name on the truck. The man told my dad $50 to repair some holes in the driveway. After spreading some type of "asphalt" mix from a bag onto the driveway and spraying with some liquid, he proceeded to tell my parents that it would be $500.00. My dad disputed what the man originally said. The man said that my dad didn't hear him correctly. My dad was presented with a "business card" with BBW I nc and # 309-863-6331 on it with information regarding paving/liquids. My dad proceeded with a check payable to BBW Inc, but the man insisted he write the check to him personally. However, the check was written to BBW Inc. for $250.00. The man left in disgust.
